Fitter Cable layer Job in Qatar

Alpha Crew Group is recruiting for this Fitter Cable layer Job in Qatar position aboard a assigned vessel for operations in Qatar. Candidates with relevant vessel-type experience, valid seafarer documentation and a strong safety record are encouraged to review the requirements below.

Job Responsibilities

• Carry out the normal operational and maintenance duties of the advertised position aboard the assigned vessel.
• Follow standing orders, permit-to-work requirements and the vessel Safety Management System.
• Complete assigned inspections, maintenance and operational tasks safely and report defects or unsafe conditions promptly.
• Participate in toolbox talks, emergency drills and safety meetings and maintain good housekeeping.
• Work effectively with officers, ratings and shore personnel and maintain accurate records required for the position.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• Lathe, Fabrication, Welding, Engine, Deck, Pipe, Hydraulics, Dry-docks Experience
• Good working English is required
