We are currently seeking an experienced Second Officer / Second Mate to join a modern LNG Tanker operating on international trading routes. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified navigation officers looking to develop their careers within the growing LNG shipping industry while working onboard technologically advanced vessels.

The successful candidate will be responsible for voyage planning, navigational safety, chart corrections, bridge watchkeeping support, and compliance with international maritime regulations. LNG tanker experience is preferred but strong tanker experience from LPG, Chemical, or Product Tankers will also be considered.

Key Requirements

• Officer of the Watch (OOW) Unlimited Certificate
• Valid STCW Certification
• ECDIS and GMDSS Certification
• Previous tanker experience preferred
• Good English communication skills
• Strong navigational knowledge
• Medical fitness certificate

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update voyage plans
• Maintain navigational charts and publications
• Conduct passage planning and route monitoring
• Manage bridge equipment maintenance records
• Support cargo and ballast operations
• Participate in emergency drills and safety inspections
• Ensure compliance with ISM, SOLAS, and MARPOL requirements
