Chief Engineer DSV DP2 Job in India

Alpha Crew Group is recruiting for this Chief Engineer DSV DP2 Job in India position aboard a DSV DP2 for operations in India. Candidates with relevant vessel-type experience, valid seafarer documentation and a strong safety record are encouraged to review the requirements below.

Job Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for safe operation of propulsion, generators, auxiliaries and engine-room systems.
• Plan preventive and corrective maintenance and control the vessel’s planned maintenance system and technical records.
• Supervise engine-room personnel, machinery isolation, permits to work, repairs and troubleshooting.
• Control fuel, lubricants, spares and consumables and report machinery condition and defects to shore management.
• Support surveys, audits and dry-docking while ensuring compliance with class, flag, MARPOL and company SMS requirements.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• Good rank experience on a similar vessel type
• DP Maintenance
• Good English
• COVID vaccination
