Job Overview

Alpha Crew LTD is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Chief Officer DPO to join a modern DP2 Platform Supply Vessel operating in the Persian Gulf. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified marine officers with proven offshore experience to work on dynamic positioning vessels supporting offshore oil and gas operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Master in the safe navigation, operation, cargo handling, and overall management of the vessel while ensuring full compliance with company procedures, flag state regulations, IMCA guidelines, and international maritime standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as second-in-command of the vessel and support the Master in all operational activities.
• Manage and supervise deck crew members during daily operations.
• Ensure safe cargo loading, discharge, and transfer operations.
• Participate in Dynamic Positioning operations as a certified DPO.
• Maintain DP records, logbooks, and operational documentation.
• Conduct risk assessments and toolbox talks before deck operations.
• Ensure compliance with ISM Code, SOLAS, MARPOL, and company safety procedures.
• Coordinate deck maintenance programs and planned maintenance activities.
• Supervise bunkering operations and vessel stability requirements.
• Assist in emergency response situations and safety drills.
• Monitor navigation equipment and bridge resource management practices.
• Ensure offshore client requirements are met during field operations.

Required Qualifications

• Chief Officer Unlimited Certificate of Competency.
• Valid DP Full Certificate.
• Completed DP Log Book.
• Previous experience on PSV DP2 vessels.
• Offshore oil and gas vessel experience.
• Valid STCW certification.
• Valid Medical Certificate.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in the Persian Gulf offshore sector.
• Knowledge of IMCA requirements.
• Experience with offshore supply operations.
• Familiarity with client safety management systems.
