Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) to lead offshore operations onboard a state-of-the-art deepwater drillship. The OIM is the highest-ranking authority onboard and is responsible for all personnel, operational activities, safety performance, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all offshore operations.
• Lead drilling and marine departments.
• Ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain safety management systems.
• Supervise emergency preparedness.
• Lead incident investigations.
• Coordinate with onshore management.
• Manage contractor activities.
• Approve permit-to-work systems.
• Monitor operational performance.
• Conduct leadership meetings.
• Manage client relationships.
• Ensure environmental compliance.
• Lead emergency response teams.
• Oversee workforce development.
• Manage operational risks.
• Review daily drilling reports.
• Support budget management.
• Ensure asset integrity.
• Promote safety culture.

Required Qualifications

• Extensive offshore drilling experience.
• Previous OIM experience.
• IWCF Well Control Certification.
• BOSIET and HUET certification.
• Leadership training.
• Offshore Emergency Response training.

Preferred Experience

• Deepwater drilling operations.
• Drillships.
• Semi-submersible rigs.
• International offshore projects.

Salary

USD 25,000 – 35,000 per month
