TOP URGENT HIRING: Chief Officer / SDPO – AHTS DP2 | Qatar Offshore Project | 330–350 USD per Day

We are urgently seeking an experienced Chief Officer / Senior Dynamic Positioning Operator (SDPO) to join an AHTS DP2 (Anchor Handling Tug Supply – Dynamic Positioning Class 2) vessel for a major offshore project in Qatar.

This is an excellent opportunity for offshore professionals with LNG and DP vessel experience.

Salary:

• 330 – 350 USD per day (depending on experience)

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 24 months experience as DPO / Chief Officer
• Minimum 4 years total sea service
• Valid DP Unlimited Certificate
• Valid BOSIET Certificate
• Valid OGUK Medical
• Proven experience on DP-class offshore vessels
• Experience related to LNG or offshore energy operations
• Strong command of English (spoken and written)
• All valid maritime certificates and licenses (STCW compliant)
• Medically fit and ready for immediate deployment
• COVID vaccination as per international requirements

Preferred Candidates:

• Previous project experience with:
  • QatarEnergy (QE)
  • Qatargas
  • LNG terminal or offshore gas projects
• Experience in Middle East offshore operations

Responsibilities:

• Operate and supervise Dynamic Positioning (DP) operations
• Assist Master in navigation, offshore coordination, and vessel safety
• Support anchor handling and offshore support activities
• Maintain DP logs and ensure compliance with IMCA and company procedures
• Coordinate with offshore installations and LNG project teams
