Second Officer Tug Job in Las Palmas – Guyana

Alpha Crew Group is recruiting for this Second Officer Tug Job in Las Palmas – Guyana position aboard a assigned vessel for operations in Las Palmas – Guyana. Candidates with relevant vessel-type experience, valid seafarer documentation and a strong safety record are encouraged to review the requirements below.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform navigational watchkeeping and support safe passage execution in accordance with COLREG, STCW and vessel procedures.
• Maintain charts, nautical publications, passage-planning information and bridge records as assigned.
• Where applicable, operate and monitor the dynamic positioning system and maintain required DP watch records.
• Monitor weather, traffic, vessel position and navigational equipment and report unsafe conditions immediately.
• Participate in drills, safety inspections, deck operations and arrival/departure preparation.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• Relevant experience in the stated rank on this or a comparable vessel type is required
• Good working English is required
• All required seafarer documents must be valid and available
