Job Overview
Deep Water Offshore Drilling is seeking a qualified Roustabout for a Semi-Submersible Drilling Rig supporting offshore drilling operations in Indonesia. The successful candidate will provide deck and general rig support including cargo handling, lifting assistance, housekeeping, maintenance and material movement. The role requires close coordination with drilling, marine, maintenance and HSE teams and strict compliance with the Safety Management System, permit-to-work procedures, toolbox talks, risk assessments and operational controls. Key responsibilities include following approved operating and drilling procedures, monitoring equipment and work conditions, identifying hazards before tasks begin, reporting abnormalities promptly, supporting inspections and emergency drills, maintaining accurate shift or maintenance records, and contributing to reliable, efficient offshore operations. Candidates with recent experience on comparable semi-submersible drilling rig operations, strong safety performance and the ability to work effectively in a multinational rotational crew will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform the duties of the Roustabout safely and efficiently in accordance with approved offshore drilling procedures.
- Coordinate closely with drilling, marine, mechanical, electrical and HSE personnel during daily operations.
- Participate in toolbox talks, job safety analyses, permit-to-work activities and operational risk assessments.
- Monitor equipment condition and immediately report unsafe conditions, abnormal performance or operational deviations.
- Support planned maintenance, inspections, testing and operational readiness of equipment relevant to the position.
- Maintain accurate shift, maintenance and operational records and provide clear handovers to the relieving crew.
- Participate in emergency response drills and comply with muster, lifesaving and fire-safety requirements.
- Follow dropped-object prevention, lifting, working-at-height, confined-space and energy-isolation controls where applicable.
- Contribute to safe, reliable and efficient execution of the drilling program and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain professional conduct and effective communication within a multinational offshore crew.
Candidate Requirements
- Offshore deck or industrial experience preferred
- basic rigging, lifting and cargo handling
- valid BOSIET/FOET and offshore medical
- physically fit
- strong housekeeping, PPE, teamwork and safety discipline.
Preferred Offshore Experience
Recent experience on a comparable Semi-Submersible Drilling Rig is preferred. Candidates should be familiar with offshore drilling safety systems, shift work, rotational assignments, emergency response requirements and the operational discipline expected on modern drilling units.
